FORUM CODE OF CONDUCT

First things first. When you sign up on this forum make sure you use your toons name. That is the only way I know if you are a guild member or not.


1.          Forum Access
You must register an account with Respect to post on our member forums.

2.         Linking Images
 You may link the resource but you may not store the images here.

3.          Users of this resource will be civil at all times.
The healthy exchange of ideas is the purpose of a discussion forum. There will be times where disagreements lead to conflict. Be courteous and respectful of one another when this happens. Disagreement doesn't have to segway directly into insults.

4.          Personal attacks are prohibited
Flame wars will not be tolerated here. They do nothing to contribute to the community and will be dealt with swiftly. This is a resource for everyone to enjoy so remember, although we may welcome your presence here, many things are not tolerated. Keep it civil. In-game conflicts are just that, in-game conflicts. They do not and will not make their way here in the form of personal attacks. The only forgiveness in this regard is clear roleplaying in the correct forum.

5.          Trolling is prohibited
Post that deliberately bait the community or are designed to anger and insult the members here will not be tolerated

6.          Bugs and exploits will not be posted in this forum
Although we don't expect you to agree with our views or our code of conduct, we do expect you to honor the terms of service and forum rules. We do not condone such things and do not want to see such activity in our message boards.

7.          Nested (Pyramid) quoting is prohibited
Nested quotes are responses to a forum thread containing multiple quotes (3 or more for our definition). If anyone wanted to see what a poster said earlier, they're welcome to read that post.

8.          Redundant Threads
Will most always be deleted. If you have a question, search the forum before you post. You may find that someone has had the very same issue and is already engaged in a discussion about it.

9.          Newbie Bashing
We all arrived new at the Shores of Norath at some point in time. Just because you've been here a while longer than someone else doesn't give you any right, authority, or can it be implied that you are somehow more intelligent or know more of the product or this guild. Therefore, you would be better served to shy away from bashing newcomers to this resource. It will not be tolerated in any shape or form. The nonsense that has occurred on the EQ2 Flames forums will not be repeated here. Post there if you want to feel important because of a join date or post count. They mean little to Respect.

10.       Advertisements are prohibited
Post to sales or services including the sales and services of Sony Online Merchandise are forbidden. Everyone knows where the Sony Online link is and they can go there to learn more about purchasing the product. If you advertise an online service for leveling, character purchase or in-game currency seller resources here, you may find yourself banned.

11.       Try to avoid using profanity
We understand that Everquest 2 can be a mature game. Mature however doesn't mean that we use profanity in every sentence. Excesive use of profanity only demonstrates a serious lacking in intellect and vocabulary. If this is the way you want others to see you, do it elsewhere.

12.       How to earn an instant ban

1.        Impersonate an administrator or moderator of this resource

2.        Racist, hateful, defamatory, obscene, or sexist remarks

3.        Personal threats

4.        Posting Pornography

5.        Discussing illegal activity. Because when you show up in court, no one here wants to go with you.

6.        Excessive profanity and vulgar language

7.        Post a single link to sites that contain any of the above.
